You've got to admire a country where you can get a response like this! In the United States, this office would be staffed with 10 additional people to push paper around a desk, submit compliance paperwork, and HR. But you would never get a response to any queries or suggestions, because of their fear-based practice of avoidance. Very refreshing to be in a place that is wholly not self-censoring. Sure, maybe there are times where the Israelis could learn to be a bit more discreet or diplomatic, but then you'd miss these spontaneous and satisfying interactions. Their candor is the weedwacker of life!

If the United States had an official body governing the use of the English language, they would be accused of abusing government power, of not using government power enough, of anti-minority racism, and anti-majority racism, all at the same time by different people. Then California and Florida would make their own competing offices and Texas would pass a law nullifying all three within in its borders.
